Letter: Funeral home is thanked for help
Our family recently suffered a tragic event, the loss of our mother, grandmother, great grandmother, and aunt. We wanted to let the citizens of Madera know what wonderful, compassionate help we received from the funeral home Smith Manor Grace Chapel.
Operations manager Michela Patterson was extremely helpful and made a very difficult and painful time more manageable and went out of her way to accommodate our special needs.
Our family would like to publicly thank her and the funeral home for being there in our time of need.

Both Barbara & I extend our most profound condolences to the family, friends & Dennis Dewitt. Your loss is everyone’s loss because this Lady was a selfless role model who also knew how to live life to its fullest. She was also a Rosicrucian and viewed transition as a cycle. WE ALL grieve for OUR loss, but she would appreciate a toast to her life and the manner in which she lived it – her way.
Both Barbara & I extend our condolences to the family and friends of Barbara Marris. She transitioned so young, but lived the life she wanted to live. She will be missed.
